Courses Description

This course provides students with hands-on training in software development, equipping them with the skills needed to design and build high-quality systems and applications. The program is entirely practical, ensuring students gain real-world development experience. Students understand the business concepts to be able to commercialize their solutions as well as secure them from cyber crime attacks. In addition, demand for Data Science talent is exploding. Each industry (i.e. Banking, Insurance, and Agriculture) has huge data that needs to be analyzed to boost growth and improvement in service delivery; this program equips you with skills to develop your career as a Data Scientist as there is great need for this skill too.

What Will I Learn?

  •  – Full Stack Web Development: HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Python, SQL databases – Front-End & Back-End. 
  •  – Android Apps Development: Utilizing Kotlin/Java programming to create cutting-edge mobile applications.
  •  – Artificial Intelligence (AI): Enabling computers to learn and make decisions via NLP, Robotics, etc.
  •  – Data Science & Machine Learning: Analyze data using Python & SQL.
  •  – Cyber Security & Ethical Hacking: Protect systems from cyber threats.

Learning Outcomes :

For their final projects, each student is required to design and develop an Android mobile application, a Full-stack web application system (e.g an ecommerce platform) and a website. Developed websites are hosted online. The Android applications created will be published on a variety of app stores, such as Google Play Store, Safaricom Apps, Amazon, Samsung Store.

Upon successful completion of this 4.5-month program (Graduation follows immediately afterwards), participants will be qualified for various roles, including Data Scientist, Data Analyst, AI Expert, Software Engineer, Technical Project Manager, Mobile App Developer, Full-Stack Developer, Quality Assurance (QA) Tester, Database Administrator (DBA), Data Engineer, Cyber security Analyst, Forensic Analyst, Ethical Hacker (Penetration Tester), and Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst. These career paths span across all sectors of the economy, such as Banking & Finance, Healthcare, Law, Agriculture, Insurance, Education, Trade, Security, Logistics, Government sectors etc.
